What I gleaned from reading the class survey about families:
Families often follow religion, although the children may choose to be different to their parents. Some reasons for unsuccessful marriages may hinge on clashing religions. Many parents don’t choose to get married; they just stay as “partners”.
The majority of parents have cultural backgrounds; this can also affect choice of religion Couples now will plan when to have their kids based on income, house, circumstances and age. Some parents have their children accidentally, and this can lead to a big age gap between siblings in a family.

Self Reflection:
There were 8 people whom dont follow a religion in our class, it is possible that this amount of people dont do so because they have stoped believing. It is also possible that religion is seen as "uncool" by the youth of today and therefore teenages are presured out of there believes.
Many of the classes parents have seperated, this could be because not as many people follow religion and therefore divorce or seperation is not considered to be sin. Religion isnt the only reason though, divorce is not looked down on in the community as much and also as more people do it it's not seen as so uncommon.
